Back-strap weaving with Miguel Anrango

Description

This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn from Ecuadorean Master Weaver Miguel Andrango. Miguel and his daughter, Luz Maria, will be offering a tranditional Andean backstrap weaving workshop at Craigardan during the weekend of August 25-27. Lodging not included, but we may rent a house near Craigardan as a group if many live too far from Keene to go home in the evenings. You only need to bring an open mind, and a little bit of Spanish! There will be translators on site, too, so not to worry if all you know how to say is "hola."

Registration for the workshop is $150 for the entire weekend. Space is limited to 12. (If finances are keeping you from attending, please email brittanykchristenson@gmail.com as two half-price workshop tickets are available for those in need).
